Your Will to DO, can Inspire YOU
when was the last time you were inspired by yourself?
Hi Friends :)
Today I am going to keep this message brief, solely because there’s a lot of work for you to do (for yourself) and I hope this will serve as some motivation for you in your personal goals. This mornings episode of Sober in The Morning identifies three ways to “get the job done,” by using breakfast, lunch and dinner as indicators to check something off of your goal list.
For Breakfast, you are encouraged to do something BIG, something GREAT--which you’ve put on the back burner. This should be the thing that will fortify your spirit, much like breakfast to guide you into the rest of you day--a feeling of accomplishment, though it is only the beginning.
For lunch, I’ve asked that you consider doing something satisfying for yourself, perhaps it’s buying that thing, a personal investment for yourself or brand. Maybe, its actually eating, but somewhere you’ve been longing to go, but couldn’t find anyone to accompany with--treat yourself today!
Finally, for dinner--do the thing that’s easy but yet you’ve managed to make it so difficult, it still hasn't been done. Like, calling someone you’ve been thinking about, but haven’t gotten around to reaching out. All of these goals should be for YOURSELF, even if somehow--somewhere--someone else is receiving the blessings from your choices, you are at the forefront.
This is what I am tasking you with today and I am pleased to say, personally I have already checked my breakfast goal off the list! Without going into detail, I got up this morning--drank my water and sat with my thoughts BEFORE touching my phone and I had a tough conversation with myself. I made choices for myself today to propel me closer toward my goals and all before lunch! This big act has given me the strength and more importantly the belief that I can accomplish the rest of my goals for the day and throughout the week.
Imagine using this practice everyday! Oh my goodness--we’d be so much further in our careers, personal accomplishments and overall health and wellness…I’m smiling with joy because I believe one small task can create a ripple effect toward GREATNESS y’all.
